Sometimes you don't need a cheerleader.
You don't need someone to swoop in with the right words or a hug.
Sometimes, you need you.

When you're in pain, run down, or just not feeling like yourself, it's easy to spiral into frustration or worry. Try to remember; this is not forever. This moment, this discomfort, this dip in energy…it will pass.

So take a pause.
Wrap yourself in a blanket, make a cup of tea, turn off the noise, and check in with yourself. You're allowed to rest. You're allowed to be still.

Then...talk to yourself like you would to your dearest friend. Tell yourself:
"This is temporary. I've gotten through harder. I am safe. I am healing. And I will feel better."

Because the truth is, no matter how heavy today feels, tomorrow always brings the possibility of lightness. And you, my friend, are stronger than this moment 🩷
