There's something really beautiful about discovering the little rhythms of a new home.
This morning, I woke up and noticed the softest strip of sunlight stretching across my balcony.
Usually, this space is filled with afternoon sun, so this felt like a quiet little surprise from the universe…a gentle good morning kiss from the day itself.
And I stood there imagining what this balcony will become.
A pair of Adirondack chairs.
A few bright pillows.
Flowers.
Greenery.
An Italian girl's tomato plant, of course. 🍅
I could already picture slow summer mornings with coffee in hand, warm evenings under the fading light, and those peaceful little pauses that somehow end up meaning everything.
Peace doesn't always arrive in giant life-changing moments.
Sometimes, it arrives as sunlight on concrete.
A chair waiting to be placed.
A tomato plant you haven't bought yet.
A tiny vision of the future that suddenly feels hopeful and exciting again.
And maybe that's how we rebuild our lives…
one beautiful little moment at a time.
