It's Valentine's Day.
And yes…I want that kind of love.
Not for the roses that come around once a year on February 14th.
I mean the real thing.
Dinner across a table from someone who looks at me like I'm magic.
Fingers intertwined.
A warm hand on the small of my back.
Sweet nothings whispered just loud enough for me to hear.
A tender touch, a caress, kisses...💋
I want romantic love. The intimate, electric, heart-softening kind. The mutual love and thoughtfulness all year round kind.
And before someone says, "But I'm happy on my own" - so am I.
I have beautiful friends. Family. Community. A full life.
Wanting romantic love doesn't cancel any of that. It adds to it.
There is nothing weak about desiring something deeply human.
Romantic love is special. And it's okay to want that too.
I actually believe something beautiful is lining up.
Like we're both out there…living, growing, becoming…
and about to cross paths at exactly the right moment.
I'm expectant.
Open heart.
Soft smile.
Lip gloss ready. 😉
If you're single and secretly hopeful too…
you're not alone.
Love is not late.
It's just on its way.
Happy Valentine's Day. 💗✨
