I Got Sugared.
There's something deeply feminine and empowering about taking care of your body in this way.
Today was my sugaring appointment at Sugar Moon with Meg…followed by an eyebrow tint…and I walked out of there feeling soft, confident, energized, womanly, and completely reconnected to myself.
For anyone unfamiliar, sugaring is a gentler form of hair removal made from natural ingredients, and I personally find it so much kinder to the body than traditional waxing.
But this post isn't really about hair removal.
It's about self-care.
It's about deciding that you matter.
It's about carving out time to nurture yourself instead of always putting yourself last.
There's something powerful about lying there and thinking:
I am caring for me.
My body.
My confidence.
My well-being.
And maybe that sounds small to some people…but I don't think it is.
I think these little rituals matter.
The appointments.
The creams.
The walks.
The slow mornings.
The fresh brows.
The moments where we choose ourselves on purpose.
To me, that's part of becoming a freer woman.
A woman who understands that caring for herself is not vanity.
It's self-respect.
And Meg? Absolutely amazing. Warm, welcoming, gorgeous, and one of those women who naturally makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. Those kinds of people are gifts.
So yes…
I got sugared today.
And I left feeling feminine, sexy, empowered, and fully myself.
That's a beautiful thing 💕
