A Silver Lining I'll Carry Forever
It's coming to an end - this chapter where my daughter has been by my side, day and night, since November 18th.
From the hospital room, every single evening, through my discharge, and then here at my home, she showed up in ways that still take my breath away.

During the bacterial meningitis and the stroke, I wasn't just healing - I was witnessing.
I got to see, up close, the woman my daughter has become: kind, gentle, steady, compassionate, strong in the quietest ways.

It's an unusual role reversal when a mother becomes the one receiving care from her child. And yet, that's exactly what happened. She cared for me with patience, love, and a maturity that deepened my respect for her beyond words.

In the stillness of recovery, we shared time and conversations we might never have had otherwise. We laughed. We talked. We connected not just as mother and daughter, but as two women who truly see one another. Our relationship grew stronger, more rooted, more loving.

Now, as I regain my independence and she returns to her own life, home and work, this chapter gently closes. But what remains is something lasting.

I believe in silver linings.

And this one - born from struggle - is a bond that feels deeper, steadier, and forever changed for the better.
For that gift, I am endlessly grateful.💕
